The Dundas Street Bridge rehabilitation project required the complete removal and replacement of the superstructure and the repair of the substructure over the environmentally sensitive Humber River and Valley. This $19,000,000 City of Toronto project was of particular interest to Soncin in that our proposed alternative to utilize pre-cast concrete deck panels in lieu of conventional forming allowed the work to proceed while minimizing the environmental impact on the sensitive Humber River valley while accelerating the schedule.
