Two-stage project consisting of Structural work including shoring wall to facilitate the new construction of substructure and superstructure. Road widening including excavation to subgrade, placement of granular, asphalt, boulevard construction (sidewalks, bike paths, bus bays, street lighting). Complete replacement of water main, sanitary force mains, and storm sewer. Removal of the existing concrete culvert and replacing it with the new bridge structure. Reconstruction of Humber River Tributary H3 via the use of cofferdam and bypass flume. The channel was a MNRF & TRCA regulated area, habitat of red-side dace, an endangered species protected under the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) Species at Risk Act.
