Complete demolition and reconstruction of a multi-span, multi-lane bridge strcture over highway 401 with work occurring over multiple stages. The project required the widening and full reconstruction of Keele Street (from Downsview Ave. to Falstaff Ave) and corresponding interchange ramps. This included all corresponding utility, lighting, intersection and drainage work. Also included was a Fast-track concrete road base, asphalt paving and line marking, grading and landscaping, curbs and median. Demolition of the existing structure was completed without a full closure to expressway traffic.
