The critical element of this project was to replace the superstructure of the two-span Humber River Bridge on the Lakeshore West Line (4 rail lines) by way of rapid span replacement during designated weekend rail closures. Other works included rehabilitation of the substructure, under-water pier rehabilitation, track replacement, relocation, and support of utilities.
