Soncin Construction was contracted to construct the Mount Pleasant subway station - one of the 12 underground stations on the new Eglinton LRT line. Approximately 23,000 cubic meters of concrete was poured to complete the project. The construction of this station was unique to all other stations as it utilized the Top Down method of construction.
