The demolition and construction of the Bramalea Road structure and road works were constructed in the environmentally sensitive area under the jurisdiction of the Toronto Region and Conservation Authority. Reconstruction of the Humber River Tributary H3 via use of cofferdam and bypass flume. The channel was MNRF & TRCA regulated area, habitat of red-side dace, an endangered species protected under Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) Species At Risk Act. Soncin was responsible to acquire a SARA permit and coordinate all creek work with a Fluvial Geo-Morphologist, Environmental Monitor, & Fish Biologists.
